According to The Denver Post, early Sunday morning (like 2 AM early), a couple was confronted by a man that they say shouted “anti-gay, derogatory names at them” in a parking lot, a media release said.
The man allegedly slammed one of their car doors shut and grabbed a cell phone from one of the victim’s hands.
Boulder has a zero tolerance policy for hate crimes within its county, which was implemented in 2005.
The investigation is still ongoing, and if you have any information you are asked to phone the Boulder police.
